How We Build Kids

Built around how kids actually develop.

Every kids program at Guido's keys in on the four stages of childhood development: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Social. We call it PIES. It is how we structure classes, design drills, and build the relationships that turn a shy four-year-old into a confident kid who walks into school with a quiet sense of who they are.

  • P Physical

Coordination, strength, control of the body.

  • I Intellectual

Focus, problem-solving, learning how to learn.

  • E Emotional

    Confidence, self-regulation, handling setbacks.

  • S Social

    Respect, teamwork, friendship across ages.

Before You Sign Up

Common questions about Little Ninjas in Clovis, CA.

My child is shy. Will they be okay in Little Ninjas?

Yes. Shy is the most common starting point in this age group. Our instructors keep first-day expectations small on purpose: stand on a spot on the mat, listen to one instruction at a time, try one drill. The confidence builds from there, and parents almost always see the change at home before they see it in class.

What if my 3-year-old still has tough days?

We expect it, and we plan for it. Some classes are great, some are not. Instructors stay patient, parents are welcome in the viewing area, and a tough class never gets in the way of a good next class.

Where can my 3 year old start martial arts in Clovis?

Right here. The Little Ninjas program at our Clovis dojo is built specifically for ages 3 and 4. Classes are 30 minutes on purpose, drills are short on purpose, and structure stays kid-sized. Walk in or book the one-week trial to see it in action.

Does my child need to be potty trained?

Yes. Little Ninjas must be fully potty trained to start. Our instructors are focused on running class, not diaper changes, so children still in diapers do better waiting until they are trained before they begin. The occasional accident happens and we handle it without making a thing of it.

How long is each class?

Little Ninjas classes are 30 minutes. That is the right amount of time to stretch attention without breaking it for this age group. Most families train two or three times a week.

Do we have to commit before we know?

No. The one-week trial is built for exactly this question. $59 covers one full week of classes and includes the free Guido's t-shirt. Decide after you have seen the classes for yourself.

Does my child need a uniform on day one?

No. Athletic clothes are fine. The free t-shirt that comes with the trial is plenty. When you decide to continue, the front desk will walk you through the uniform sizing.
